On Wednesday, November 11th Mynor, Mike, and I headed to the dock and hopped village to village along the northern shore of Lake Atitlán: San Juan, San Marcos, Tzununá, Jaibalito, Santa Cruz.
We got off at Santa Cruz and walked up the steep, long hill to the village,
then headed west again along a trail system that took us up and down (some how it seemed to be mostly up!) back through the villages of Jaibalito, Tzununá, and San Marcos - incredible views and a peek at life in other villages along the lake.

We had a wonderful lunch in San Marcos
and made sure to check out some crystals (it's a San Marcos thing) before getting back on a boat to San Pedro with a quick stop in San Juan. A day well spent!
